The foundation "Art in Africa" begins with the support of six art- and cultural projects in Africa. With these projects, young musicians in Burkina Faso are sponsored, festivals will be carried out in Eastern Africa and education about the threats of HIV/AIDS will take place. In Mali and Senegal, libraries are being supported in their effort to purchase African publications. In Cameroon, the foundation is sponsoring two artists' initiatives in the city of Douala.
